AbiWord 3.0: can we?

Is there anything that stops us from release AbiWord 3.0 from the 3.0
branch?

And by stops I mean something like "it does not work on platform blah"
or some other horrible failure. Not the "this still hasn't been fixed".

We'll work out the kinks if needed to do a fix release later.

The MSVC projects needs to be branched for that. I see nothing stopping
us on Linux on the other hand.
