GSoC status

Hi,

I would like to call for a GSoC status from the mentors. I'm only
interested in the state of the GSoC project and whether you plan to
merge it.

On my side, the Qt port went forward, and while still non functional I
really intend to merge it to trunk as it doesn't impact the rest of the
project. More work will be done on it in the future, I hope.

I shall remind that trunk is currently past 3.0 release that lives in
the ABI-3-0-0-STABLE branch.
