Hi Hub,

I agree with this proposal. We don't have the man-power to maintain it. Let's mark it as depreciated.
The future for embedded and mobile is QT anyway.

I propose that for AbiWord 3.next[1] we deprecate Maemo. This will allow to deprecate Gtk2 and clearly remove a large burden in maintenance due to our very limited resources - Gtk3 being the future for Linux support.

Note that while Qt is in the tree, it is not yet considered as "supported" - the plan being to use it for Windows and maybe MacOS.


Any comment?

[1] I think it will be called 3.2 for the stable release, but who knows.
