It still works for me with the files you provided.
Which Mozilla Version and Operating System are you using (I used Mozilla
1.3 on Mac OSX)?

Furthermore (but isn't the cause for your problem right now) watch the
case sensitivity with your files. Schema.xml should be schema.xml
(except you adjusted the config file as well) and your schema.xml is way
too complex for the current BXE. This will improve with the next Version
