I do more or less completely agree with you and it's totally my personal
opinion, as well. 

The problem is, as Brian mentioned, that ~94% is using MSIE and not
everyone likes to install Mozilla or in general new software. I think,
for getting widespread use and acceptance, BXE has to support MSIE as
well. It's not a funding issue right now and therefore we will
concentrate still on Mozilla for the time being and try to get it as
good as possible on Mozilla. I just made some MSIE tests for another
project this morning and I had to share my feelings with this list about
that :) But we have to keep the MSIE-port in our heads...
