RE: bitflux editor and openbsd...

Hi there,

You might remember a few months ago (March) I had exactly the same problem,
but it seems I never posted the solution, though it might not apply in this
situation.

I had exactly the same symptoms as Rares on Windows XP. It turned out that
if I was running XFree86 under Cygwin, it would hang, but if I wasn't
running XFree86 under Cygwin, it ran ok. It wasn't Bitflux code per se that
was hanging, but a call to Mozilla's XML libraries to load an XML document
(I think). This happened on several different versions of Mozilla.

I have absolutely no idea how XFree86/Cygwin and Mozilla could interfere
with each other in this way, but the effect was reproducible.
