You can edit comments in the source view.

But with doctype and entity declaratinos, I don't know a solution right 
now. They are "above" the documentElement and BXE can't access currently 
something like that. There's no feature implemented for that.

As we use the normal XMLSerializer/Parser by Mozilla, it would certainly 
be possible to do somehow, maybe you could add it to the menu and then 
edit it with a normal textarea field.
