strange behaviour in the first paragraph

hi,

we have some strange behaviour in the first paragraph (or
top-level-element) of every page in bitflux.

we have p (included from the xhtml-namespace) and our tag <fett> which
is formatted and described in the schema like the xhtml-bold. that works
on every position. but if the p is the first toplevelelement of the
content and the whole paragraph is set to fett bitflux loses all
content. at saving it sends only an empty <p/>.

we tried a workaround like follows: insert a whitespace at the beginning
and the end of the paragraph and format only the text between the
whitespaces. that seemed to work, but didn“t. this time only the whole
paragraph disappeared. in tag-view here we had only the paragraph-tag,
the text between the p-tags was bolded (visible but without fett-tag).
in the sourceview ther was only an empty <p/>.

the bug seems to work with a namespace-problem because while testing the
online-demo of bxe for the same behaviour at [1] the tagview after
formatting the first paragraph bold only showed <b> tags instead of
<xhtml:b>.

any idea?

thanks
patrick
