Problem with & in attribute values

Hi all,

I encountered a problem when saving a document that contained an entity 
like &amp; in an attribute value.

It looks like BXE displays and stores the ampersand in an attribute 
value as a plain & and not as &amp;

Is this the case? And is there a workaround or a fix available?
