Questions about images

I have been working with the Bitflux Editor for a few days now, and I'm 
excited about the progress you've made so far!

I am hoping someone can help me with a pretty basic concept.  I have 
been trying to extend the packaged example for my needs, but am getting 
stuck on using images.

The editor's image insert function creates xml like this:

<media xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
	<media-reference id="BX_id_0" source="/images/myimage.jpg" />
</media>

And appears in the editable area.  After I save the item though, the 
image does not appear in the editor again.  When I view xml, I notice 
that it is inside of <p> tags.  Perhaps this is why the stylesheet 
isn't finding it?

What can I do/change to prevent this and/or deal with it?
