That's one task missing for the 1.0 release. Fixing the examples..

more or less, the atom example should do this. 
http://cvsdemo.bitfluxeditor.org/examples/echo-atom/index.html works for me.

nope. there won't be too many changes until 1.0. It will be released in 
the next few weeks. We're in bugfixing mode right now.

that was for the old generation editor. some things changed in the new one.

some very minimal more information..

Just try the atom example. and if it doesn't work or you have further 
questions, just ask. If it doesn't work, btw, look at the JS console and 
see, if anything's reported there
