conglomerate | Code - Editor Widget | Ver: 0.9.0
Summary: Cursor should only blink when window has focus
Product: conglomerate
Version: 0.9.0
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: Code - Editor Widget

I've been meaning to file this one for a while now. I've noticed Conglomerate
consumes a large amount of processing time when I leave it open for weeks. I've
traced 90% of the load back to the blinking cursor. In all other editors I
could find, the cursor blinking is stopped once another window steals focus.
This effectively saves processor time when the user can't possibly be entering
text into Conglomerate.
