I've just updated to the latest version of conglomerate, and a patch has go=
ne
in fixing bug 561895 that appears to have also fixed this. Given they were =
both
to do with backspace issues, I think this is a duplicate of bug 561895 and
can't reproduce it any more. You will need to now either wait for the next
released version of conglomerate (unsure when, might be a while), compile y=
our
own version (with the patch linked to below added), or get Ubuntu to include
the patch.
