No, that's not that huge. Or did you mean if not all xds file have a 
corresponding xds.in file the translation process does not occur?

Yes, those are translated. What is not translated in the first part, 
the document types (i.e. metadata at the top of the files). And 
actually I did not see a c file where they appear, I may have missed 
something though.

Here's a screenshot (Conglomerate Preferences) so that you'll 
understand what I mean (I speak about the list of names (Nom into 
French) and Description in first tab (Document types aka Types de 
document):

The contents of the second tab Plugins not shown here is translated.
