conglomerate development

Hi all,

  I really like conglomerate, but unfortunately it's quite broken in its
current state (eg. I get several crashers, the display is not always
right wrt line breaks or the end of the document). I'd like to start
working on conglomerate to get it into shape, how should I contribute?
Just commit patches? Send them to this list for review?

And one really important thing for me: I wrote libccc, a canvas API for
GTK+ based using cairo for rendering. It's quite similar to GnomeCanvas.
Would the conglomerate project be interested in using libccc for the
canvas rendering?
