I'm sorry that I've done such a poor job as maintainer:
(i) I'm not doing any work on Conglomerate these days (working on
various Red Hat/Fedora-specific things these days)
(ii) I should have spelled this out more clearly, and made it easier for
someone to take over.

My apologies for now spelling things out more clearly.

I don't expect to do any more maintenance work on Conglomerate: my own
needs for XML editing are satisfied by nXML mode in Emacs, and if I were
trying to build a rich user-friendly editor now, I think I'd build it as
an Eclipse RCP application (in Java, rather than C.  Almost anything but
C, in fact).
