Usability of XML editors

I've just discovered this project and wanted to let you know that it's
a great idea and long overdue.

I'm doing my PhD on the usability problems of editing structured text
(especially XML and LaTeX) so I have been examining all the XML
editors in detail for some years, and come to the conclusion that none
of them are suitable for the ordinary writer. Conglomerate seems to be
in exactly the right place.

I have installed it under Ubuntu Gutsy and I'll post a few comments
later.

I'm going to be at the XML Conference in Boston 2-5 December. Will
there be anyone from the Conglomerate project there, or in the area?
If not, is there anything I can do to be useful while I'm there?
