Yes, indeed, there were some bugfixes, and a lot of new or updated
translations have arrived. In my mind, Conglomerate isn't really dead. A
lot of people are still using it for DocBook tasks, regardless its age.

Would be nice to see anybody who wants to take the steering wheel. More
than half a year ago I've got the following answer from the previous
developer Geert Stappers:

Seems to that we don't have to expect any further actions from him.


BTW, Conglomerate would be a good base for a Mallard [1] editor. This is
the designated format for all new to be written GNOME user
documentation, but we haven't a WYSIWYM editor therefore yet. Because
Mallard is yet another XML dialect, it could be that not really much
code is needed to implement it. Unfortunately, I've no idea who a
programming language works, I'm a translator only.
