Jedit 4.3pre4 Released

That's right, the second release in 2006, jEdit 4.3pre4, containing
some useful bugfixes, enhancements and plugin-enabling features.
Please download and try it out, even if you are not a developer,
because there are a few plugins that require it.

While you are at it, I recommend you upgrade to JDK 1.5 - jedit does
not require it, but some more recent plugins do (esp. Console), so if
you don't upgrade, you won't see the more recent versions, of it or
the plugins that depend on it.

Updated Plugins

Many plugins have been updated recently. This includes Console,
ProjectViewer, SideKick, JavaSideKick, AntFarm, XSearch, AStyle,
Navigator, Code2HTML, JavaScriptSideKick, Outline, LatexTools, Scheme,
and Oolong. Be sure to check them out! More updates are coming soon.
For Developers: NEW CVS Location

Sourceforge.net has changed jedit's repository location, in the move
to new hardware. Every place where there was one
[email protected]/cvsroot/jedit, we now have
[email protected]/cvsroot/jedit.

During the transition, the CVS server was down for quite some time,
and further, the former pserver anoncvs and webcvs addresses still
work for read-only purposes, but are no longer being updated. Please
stop using them. It is confusing when people say they're up to date on
the latest cvs version when in fact, they're updating from the wrong
repo.
