Hello,

this worked for me on Windows 10, jEdit 5.6.0 :

- at command prompt run "explorer shell:AppsFolder" (without quotes)

- in Applications dialog, on jEdit app, right click and select Open file
location

- in Windows Explorer, on jEdit shortcut, right click and select Properties

- in jEdit Properties dialog, select Shortcut tab, clear ShortKey field,
click Ok

from info at
https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/create-keyboard-shortcuts-windows-10

hope this helps
