Can confirm. Would be better to do nothing or say something like "Directory deleted". --- **[bugs:#4133] deleting an expanded directory in VFSBrowser results in IO error dialog** **Status:** open **Group:** minor bug **Created:** Tue Feb 27, 2024 09:10 PM UTC by Eric Le Lay **Last Updated:** Tue Feb 27, 2024 09:10 PM UTC **Owner:** nobody The error dialog should be avoided for the folder that we have selected for deletion! Steps to reproduce: 1. navigate to /home/elelay/jedit 2. expand the coucou folder 3. select the BinEd folder 4. expand it 5. delete it 6. An I/O Error dialog appears: /home/elelay/jedit/coucou/BinEd: Unable to list files in this folder. This doesn't happen when the BinEd folder is not expanded. --- Sent from sourceforge.net because [email protected] is subscribed to https://sourceforge.net/p/jedit/bugs/ To unsubscribe from further messages, a project admin can change settings at https://sourceforge.net/p/jedit/admin/bugs/options.
