Can confirm. Would be better to do nothing or say something like "Directory deleted".

**[bugs:#4133] deleting an expanded directory in VFSBrowser results in IO error dialog**

**Status:** open
**Group:** minor bug

The error dialog should be avoided for the folder that we have selected for deletion!

Steps to reproduce:

1. navigate to /home/elelay/jedit
2. expand the coucou folder
3. select the BinEd folder
4. expand it
5. delete it
6. An I/O Error dialog appears: /home/elelay/jedit/coucou/BinEd: Unable to list files in this folder.

This doesn't happen when the BinEd folder is not expanded.
