weird windows-only problems with textarea extensions

I'm testing jEdit trunk on linux and windows. java 21 on both systems. On linux, WhiteSpace properly displays end of line characters and whitespaces. on windows, not. on linux, voxspell works. on windows, not. Not sure why this is yet, but it might be related to textarea extensions... hm.
