I think 5.4.0 should be released ASAP.

If not for anything else then to resolve broken plugin install/update
mechanics…



OT question; jEdit being excelent editor, are there any plans to make it
„prettyer“?

Metal is outdated and other lafs have problems, all of them; „windows“ has
repainting problems on window/component resize; Nimbus has broken buttons(
to small?) and weird sized scroolbars, „motif“ is plain ugly and all other
from coresponding look&feel plugin have problems or are just weird/ugly.



So, such a great editor and it looks plain bad L
