I wouldn't provide this on the official download page Dale. This way we can say that 7 is not supported. If we provide this on the official download page, we officially support Java 7 again. Besides that, not installing Java 8 on XP because it is not supported sounds pretty strange when XP itself is not supported anymore since long time already and actually is pretty unsafe.
