Fwd: Fwd: How to link two documents

Is this possible in Jedit:

Split window vertically, open one document in the left window, the other 
document in the right window.

And now to link those windows in a such way that I can move up/down in 
one window and the document in the other window  will move in the same 
way also.

The reason for that is that I need to translate text.
I am going to  translate the given text in the right window and write 
the translated text to  the left windows. That way I can have ( more or 
less) the same lines- formating in the translated text like original)
