How did you "point to my JDK11 install" ? Can this be done using the
jedit.exe on Windows or must I start JEdit using the
"\path_to_java11\java" command line in Windows ?

Sorry to be so late responding to your answer but I have finally
installed JDK 11 in Windows 10 and would like to start JEdit so it uses
this JDK11. I also noticed that the Oracle JDK11 does not separately
install a JRE as the Oracle JDK8 does in Windows. Does anyone know the
reason for that ?
