jEdit performance under Crostini

Just in case someone runs jEdit under Crostini (ChromeOS Linux container)
and finds graphical performance to be poor:

By changing the Text Area antialiasing mode from "standard" to any of the
subpixel values, performance is increased *significantly. *Why this is, I
don't know, but it's worked for me across all my Chromebooks.
