I tried today and I don't have any problems? I'm using FTP plugin version 1.4 from the plugin manager, jEdit 5.7, OpenJDK 24.0.1. The only issue I see is that it takes a while for the files to load, and during the loading, jEdit is unresponsive. Probably the loading needs to happen in a background thread?
