FWIW I take the blame, in line with "the famous last words", when I said that we
could release 2.5.1 because there was no need for a "emergency" fix. :-D

On a more serious note, that I can also do :-) , I have been running 2.5.0 with
two patches:

I had one crash initially but after that I had no longer any crash. In the last
month I have been using it heavily again.

So the purpose of this message is to say that all the problems that I had before
no longer happen. :-)
