I can reproduce under gdb.

In the screenshot "crash-here.avif", that is where the crash is
triggered as I am scrolling down.

in below.avif, I use "master" branch (i.e., not breakinsets3 branch) so I can scroll down below to see what might be the cause. Under the section "Hypothesis testing" is a big branch inset that has other insets, and a frame in it.

Note that the frame title inset is displayed strangely. Is it a flowing inset now?

Maybe the problem is my "omUncover" layout, which I define as follows:
