Hello
   I am running now:
Version 2.4.3 (Thursday, January 9, 2025)
Qt Version (run-time): 5.15.15 on platform xcb
Qt Version (compile-time): 5.15.15
OS Version (run-time): Debian GNU/Linux 13 (trixie)
Python detected: 3.13.5 (/usr/bin/python3)

from Debian 13.4 (Stable)

I have been with lyx for several versions now, with debian from version
5. at least and with linux from version 0.99 (meaning: I am a
dinosaur).

Lately, after upgrading to debian-trixie I have some times the
problem that the font size changes without knowing why, Discussing with
a friend with similar problem and experience we came to understand that
an accidental hit of <ctl>- plays this trick. It can be compensated by
a change <ctrl>+
These actions do not modify "default size" (Tools -> Preferences ->
Look & Feel -> Screen fonts -> Default zoom )
but effectively change the default (new documents opened after closing
lyx inherit the new setting produced with <ctrl>+ for example).

In contrast, modifying the default changes the zoom value.

Combinig both actions it is possible to have the normal size with
default 200 and zoom 50 (apparently what I see depends of the product
of both factors).

This is odd. The zoom value should not be inherited. It should be like
a change in default for the "session only".

All the best for you. Keep on with the good work.
