I'm pretty positive LyX did output this code before this commit. As I said, this commit does not change any LaTeX code the LyX outputs, it only adds the functionality to use inline language switch at the start of a paragraph. Whether the inline switch is \text<lang> or \foreignlanguage is not related to this commit. In fact this commit should not change the LaTeX output of existing files, if the LaTeX (pdfTeX XeTeX or LuaTeX) output has changed, this is a bug regardless of language searching, can you provide an example? > Anyway, language searching is broken. > Was it working with polyglossia before?
