I couldn't reproduce any memory leak with your recipy, but on windows lyx 2.4 -> 2.5 measn qt5 -> qt6 and i am running qt5 now.
Having pipeline for measuring memory use, I'll come back to this once i switch to qt6, which should not be that distant future :)
