Spanish and Catalan translations

Hello Lyx Documentation Team, I am currently reviewing the documentation translated to Catalan and Spanish; and would like to update it and contribute it, at some point. What is the exact method of contributing translations of the documentation? I could not find precise information on this matter (https://www.lyx.org/Translation#toc2). Should I send the translated Lyx documents to this mailing list? Or sign up to the Version Control System Lyx uses and make a Pull Request? By "latest version of the documentation" I understand the docs in the branch 2.3.x (https://www.lyx.org/trac/browser/lyxgit/?rev=a5e689eee5850b8375f6ad53ec892d1ff42cf8ec#lib/doc), not the master's. If I am wrong, please, let me know, as these are the ones I am taking as reference for the source (English) documents.
