You added this. This is the name you set in the LyX preferences under 
identity. This name is added to the LyX file when you make a change via 
change tracking.

But this is my request. Please use a real name. I mean you know my real 
name but I don't know yours. Your name in your mails is "mn" your email 
is "mnork0". I don't understand why you fear to use your real name while 
all other LyX contributors do.

You don't need to use git. Joust open the files with LyX and modify them 
in LyX and save them to the same folder and use the same name.
