BTW elyxer no more deals with our manuals nicely (SpecialChar and other features),
I quickly checked that last commit to elyxer repo is ~6years old so other new 
features are likely affected as well.

Uwe, do we still ship elyxer by default in windows?
If yes, is there still some major bug why we can't use our internal HTML export?
If no, I would suggest to drop it from default install and perhaps even drop
the strange 'LyXHTML' output label in favour of HTML taken by elyxer now.

And manuals should perhaps state that elyxer is outdated and can't cope with
new lyx features.

Opinions?
