We are happy to release the second beta for LyX 2.5. You can find tarballs and binaries for Windows and MacOS here: http://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/devel/lyx-2.5/ As usual, we do not recommend using beta software for production work---though many people on the development team are, and we believe that beta 2 is pretty stable. For info on new features in 2.5, see: https://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/NewInLyX25 Beta 2 is 'feature complete': No new features will be added. However, translations are not yet complete. We expect to have those for the first release candidate, in a few weeks. Should you run into any problems, please report them to the developers' mailing list, at: [email protected] Cheers!
