We are pleased to announce the first release candidate for LyX 2.5.0. This is 'feature complete': no new features will be added. Most of the translation work has also been finished, though there are some new things that will be in the final release. Find it here: http://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/devel/lyx-2.5/ Please note that LyX 2.5 needs Python 3.8 or newer to work. Please test this version and let us know if you run into any problems by reporting them to [email protected], which you may do by replying to this message.
