Re: LyX 2.5.0-RC2 -- remaining bug

I previously reported a bug in LyX v2.5.0 RC1, and the bug is still there in RC2:

If I mark a text, say "vena contracta", as Latin and try to PDF-preview the document, I get the following error message:

If I change the language to any other language (?), say Italian, the error message disappears.

We hope that this will be the last release candidate, and that LyX 2.5.0
itself will be released around the (western) New Year.

What we really need testing of is the new work on Input Methods, which
are "used to input letters in languages whose number of characters
exceeds the number of keyboard keys", such as Japanese and Chinese. See

this, and how it compares to LyX 2.4.x.
