I have identified a weird memory leak issue with LyX. It occurs with both LyX 2.4.4 and 2.5.0 RC2. The problem occurs when I change the windows theme colors. When LyX is running, if I change the windows theme color settings, LyX freezes (Not Responding) while memory usage steadily increases. After 10-20 seconds, it recovers, but with a large memory usage. You can see the white color of certain portion of the top bar. Attached are examples, where LyX memory usage went up to smtg around 3GB (when where is no file open) after I changed the Windows theme color two or three times. I think LyX Qt is trying the adjust for the new toolbar color, and cannot do it correctly. I am on Windows 10, bu maybe similar issues may exists in other OS... -- lyx-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lyx.org/mailman/listinfo/lyx-users
