Lyx 2.5.0 crash on mac book pro arm cpu

Hi,

When I close LyX, either by just closing the window or through the
menu LyX >> Quit LyX, the LyX program stops after a short delay. This
is then followed by
a crash report. This happens every single time I use Lyx 2.5.0.  I
have a Macbook pro M5 running OS 26.3.1.
