I'm wondering if anyone has found a good workflow for using one of the
agentic coding tools with LyX for mathematical writing?

I found Codex and Claude Code very useful for coding in VS Code together
with Git. I suspect they will be very useful for mathematical writing as
well, but I'm not sure if they will work well with LyX. I have found
ChatGPT can generate and modify Lyx files usefully, but I haven't tried it
with Codex or Git yet.

If I want to make heavy use of these tools, is it recommended to switch to
LaTeX or is there a good LyX solution? At some point, I might look into
Typst as well.

Thank you,
Alex
