No.  It seemed wasteful to have ^L in the edit window do only a refresh
when it could also do something extra and somewhat useful: center the
cursor -- or cycle it, like in Emacs.

Experience has shown me that I don't like the cycling behavior, so I've
assigned that to a separate keystroke:
