Hi, my understanding of the license is that copying and modifying nanorc files (e.g. from /usr/share/nano) that are used locally and not distributed to others, is considered an unrestricted form of propagation. The license also speaks of documenting modifications but again I think that this does not  apply to locally used copies that are used only by me. Can confirm?
