Generally speaking, it is much better to _attach_ stuff instead of linking to external sources, the latter tends to go bad after a while and the bug report becomes less useful.

I can see two possible causes: 1. x86_64 vs. 32bit build on Windows, or 2. your Linux build has newer Berkeley DB (the build is by Fedora, I have no idea what it links against). Let's follow up over at the bug tracker.
