you don't mention what version of Berkeley DB you are using, but my 
guess is that it is 4.x. I learned only recently that the authors 
changed the API in 4.x -- poedit-1.2.2 doesn't compile with db-4.x, 
but CVS version is already fixed. Please update your sources from 
CVS, they should work.
