First of all thanks for your reply.
I have apologize to send my message twice because I used the wrong email address at the first time.
(the email is not a member of the list) so I thought it wouldn't accept my first message then I sent it again.

The reason I downloaded the static one because the other one(poedit-1.2.3-1.i386.rpm) seems to require wxWindows as a share library.
And I don't have wxWindows share library here. I built wxWindows as a static library.
Anyway I can build poEdit from its source and I think it is a good idea to have a static version that depend on only gtk1 or gtk2 also.
