That you must look only for catalogs related to the application, in lots of directories, that you must somehow decide what exactly is "translation is available" (all catalogs? at least one of app's catalogs? 50 % of catalogs?). Also, you must do it before wxLocale is intialized and you have to somehow deal with language that don't require translation (this is usually English, but may be either en_GB or en_US and the other one may require a catalog, you may also have sources in some other language [if you have enough luck to get away with it]).
