Re: request

I've been using KBabel, and to get around the hierarchy, I create two
directories, one for pot's and the other for po's. I use a shell script,
which uses "find", to hunt out the pots, and create soft links to the
pots in the pot dir,
and the po's in the po dir. The links are named with a number, since
it's possible to have the same named file more than once. The same
number is used for the POT and the PO that correspond to each other in
the sep. dirs. Needless to say, this is a bit of work! And KBabel keeps
wanting to put the silly number in the headers of the PO file. But I can
pull out the Catalog Manager and work with this hierarchically
"flattened" set easily.

Since the names of the .po and the .pot files easily differ, some
provision should be made to help in finding the correspondence. (Gnome
project: gtk20.pot => rw.po in same dir) (Mozilla? oo?) (KDE?) 

If KBabel has some fancy feature to do all this, that I missed, someone
let me know! I hate wasting time!
