Yes, I know about this bug, but I don't have a Mac machine myself and 
so I can't do much about it. So far two or so people promised to have 
a look at it, but it ended there :-/

CVS is not meant for doing such things, do the commenting/uncommenting 
in your local checked out copy...

I'm afraid that trying to debug it like this is unrealistic, it will 
no doubt require debugging on a Mac machine.
